INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Garrett Cadotte finished as the National Runner-up in the 100 Butterfly on Thursday night (March 22) at the 2018 NCAA III Swimming & Diving Championships that are being held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cadotte swam a school record time of 48.04 to earn his second All-American award. Cadotte was just .01 behind the winner Kymani Senior of Denison College who swam 48.03 as the race was decided by a fingertip.
The Plattsmouth, Neb., native finished 11th in the 200 IM on Wednesday to earn honorable mention All-America honors. He also set a new school record in the 200 IM. He will swim in the 200 Fly on Friday in his final event of the championships.
Cadotte was also an All-American as a sophomore in 2016. His second-place finish is the best ever for a Nebraska Wesleyan swimmer at the NCAA III Championships.
