This week’s Nebraska college Players of the Week are Philly Lammers, CUNE and Levi Sudbeck, DU.
Philly Lammers, junior, Concordia (Omaha Millard West H.S.)
Lammers averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.0 steals per game, helping her No. 1-ranked team to two more wins last week. In those games, she went 11-for-23 from the floor and 14-for-16 from the free throw line.
Levi Sudbeck, senior, Doane (Pierce H.S.)
The senior won the pole vault at the Concordia Invitational by matching his season-best height, a NAIA “A” standard, of 4.90m and sits third in the NAIA. With that, Sudbeck qualified for the GPAC meet. His time in the 60m hurdles matched his season-best time, a “B” standard.
