CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference named Nebraska Wesleyan’s Peter Lash as its men’s basketball player of the week. It is the third weekly accolade from the conference for Lash in the last four weeks.
Lash scored a game-high 23 points and shot 70 percent from both the field and free-throw line in NWU’s 100-64 win over Principia on December 19. Lash grabbed seven rebounds with a block and a steal for the Prairie Wolves in the win. It was the fifth time this season that Lash has scored 20 points or more.
It is also the third career A-R-C Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week accolade for Lash and the third award by a Prairie Wolf in the 2021-2022 basketball season. Lash is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina.
